The Intel® Falcon™ 8+ is a professional, unmanned aerial vehicle with a patented V-shaped design and features best-in-class safety and advanced performance ideal for inspection and close mapping.
Engineered to accomplish critical inspection and surveying missions with precision, the Falcon 8+ features an AscTec Trinity Control Unit and three redundant IMUs. Together they offer safety and redundancy in UAV position, altitude, and orientation for a stable flight and quick, reliable data fusion.
The Falcon 8+ is also designed to combine its accurate positioning with an unobstructed data capture and millimeter accuracy for GSD (Ground Sample Distance). It does this via support for multiple optional payload options that are meant to provide an exceptional weight-to-payload ratio, as well as through its V-shaped design. This design helps enable a 180+° view from top to bottom from just one camera (not included).

This tool supports a fast and automated survey flight without a laptop. Simply enter the required parameters such as ground sample distance, then define coordinates of start and final angle via Intel® Cockpit Controller; the Intel® Falcon™ 8+ drone will automatically set flight altitude, speed, GPS-based photo positions and overlapping to provide the desired results within the shortest flight time.
WP/Path function creates an exact reproduction of aerial imaging. Several photo positions, including camera orientation, can be saved as single waypoints or as complex paths with many waypoints, thus providing an automated process to repeat the flight.
The Circle of Interest (COI) function generates a circular waypoint flight to enable the systematic capturing of images around the point of interest according to your setting.
